  1. Pretty sure this is 33-36 but conformation would be great. ok so debate says 33-36
36-1/4 c/c on spring perch and 2" at the perch

Thats a model A axle, not a 32-36...model A's have the raised boss at the perch pins, 32-36 is flat. Basicly the same axle otherwise.

  4. Well conflicting opinions?
    2" at spring perch, aren't the A axles 2-1/4 ?

    from ma

    that is correct

  6. looks like mine give it back..

  7. Maybe A that has been milled down, my money is on 32-36 axle. A axles don't have the heavy looking main web like the one in pictures.

  8. Those markings tell you any thing?
I got a stock 33-36 here also, the spring perches an That one are 36-1/2 , the one in question is 36-1/4 which I find odd.

It is a model A axle that has been milled down. Where the beam is attached to the king pin boss on an A it is almost perpendicular, and the 33-36 slopes down at a sharp angle. The axle pictured is straight out and not sloped like the later 33-36.

  10. Ok grabbed these before your edit about the king pin retaining bolts.

The rusty pitted kinda ground on one is what im95% sure is 33-36 axle.
The black one is the same black axle In all the pics.

Ok, I'm changing my mind, does look to be a 32-36 axle. The bosses just looked more defined until you compared to the original. Model A's have a larger boss, more defined.

  12. Alrighty then,
So as it stands we have
One for 32-36 with capitulation to maybe Model A from jr
One for Model A with capitulation to 32-36 from Chris
And one for model A from harv
And paper dog who don't give a **** what it is he just wants it.
    Amazing

  13. I dunno. But here is a '36...

The first pic of the second set that the OP posted, the un dropped 33-36 has a severe sweep, down and away from the king pin boss. The dropped axle comes mostly straight out, and them starts to drop. Can someone explain how that areas contour was changed during the drop:cool:?????

Deceptive pic, Look at pic 2 and 3 of that set, there is the same angle coming off the KP boss. If it still looks dfferent, try blocking off some of the view...then concentrate on the part closest to the KP

When you drop these, you need to stay away from the KP boss for two reasons; one is less chance of deforming the bore, the other has to do with getting more streering arm clearance under the dropped area.

  17. Safe to say its a 33-36

Now how about the dropper. Moredrop, deigo, something else, ?
