I looked at the flyer today while I was deciding what to do this evening. Decided to stay close to home but I hope they have a great turnout

  3. We had around 75 cars at the cruise-in tonight, despite the forecast of ****tered storms for the area. Fortunately, we only had dark skies and a few sprinkles which failed to dampen anyone's spirits! The following pics were taken early in the evening. I wish that I had taken more as the crowd grew larger. We will meet at the same location the first Friday of each month thru September. If you are in the area, we would love to have you join us next time.

Some cool stuff; I'll just miss your next meet-will be in Hurricane the last Friday of this month, on the way to see family in Ashland. We usually drop off a load of stuff to Pastor Hage at the Faith Mission. I thought hard about taking my 67 Chevy on the trip this year but 8 hours on the road without cruise control, well, maybe by next year I can rig up something out of JC Whitney.

  5. Hey Bryan,

You still might be in luck to attend an event while on your trip. The Covered Bridge Car Club hosts their monthly cruise-in the last Friday of each month at the Perry Morris Square Shopping Center in Milton, WV (10 miles west of our Hurricane location, and on the way to Ashland). 5:00 pm - dark. Some of the same cars from the pics will be at their event. Have a safe trip!
