thats got a seriously sinister look to it. me likey!! i'd like to see the front end and the pancaked hood. i know your gonna give this one the full "Grumpy style[tm]" look. i suspect it will look beyond 'Grumpy' and loo down right PISSED OFF!!! [IMG] SWEEEET! i does need a seriously "rude" engine in it for sure. maybe 383 Mopar. unless you got a HEMI layin around.

  2. Very Nice!!!!

  3. Grumpy, how bout some updated pics.
I've always really dug these cars.
I'm gonna start looking for one now instead of a shoebox ford.
Like to walk off the beaten path.

    The chop looks kill!
    Now lets see it!.....Shiny

  11. What was done to lower the car?

  12. Grumpy, Im doing a 54 Plymouth...same car, same body lines. I will be experiencing a chop on this thing. The car actually belongs to 2xcrash. We stabbed a 305 w/ 700r4 in it. Tight fit..but it looks good. I can send picts if your interested.

Did you do the chop? If you did, I have questions for you. As for mechanics, I can help, I did all of the brakes and such for this thing. Oh, to lower this thing nicely w/ good spring, bend the rear leafs upward (old school style) leaves alot of spring in it and your LOW to the ground. If I put a 3" block on mine, it would sit bumper on the ground.

If possible, can I see picts of the hood and core suppport area? What radiator are you running.

Im going to send you a PM...please call me, got alot of questions.

    BTW: Nice freaking ride...Love it!!!!

I am aching to see this car. I love '53's. There is no picture on my page. A little box with a red "X" in it. I am going to throw this freaking box into GD Puget Sound. This drives me nuts. I'm signed it etc. What the Hell? Why can't I simply see the "my new chopped plymouth." Livid.

It's probably because as a FNG you dug up a six year and four day old thread that the original poster deleted the photos off his photo host a long time ago on. You even got a good laugh from him on it.

There needs to be a way to lock these threads when they hit X months of inactivity so no one can dig them up and post on them again.
