I built the aluminum hood and sides, and tuned the fuel injection. Had one helluva good time.

 

Nice vid!! Gets me itchy for this year. Just hope gas prices drop a bit beore August.

 

Thanks for posting. I remember how cool the push truck was and wishing I had one like it. Won't be this year but I'll be back. Hope you guys get in many more good runs in the meantime.

Sadly M&S racing is no more. The car got sold. Ralph is getting old and blind. But hopefully I'll be able to make it back in the next few year to campaign a vehicle of my own. Probably a motorcycle. I don't think I can afford to run a car. We shall see.

That is Okie Joe's shop truck. You might know him as the best axle drop man around, and helluva nice guy.

I can't thank everyone involved enough. Bonneville is by far the most important experience in my life. Just rolling off the road onto the salt is an unforgettable feeling.
