got mine yesterday, has my dads scapbook in it and a story about Marcia Campbell with photos of Sam Barris chopping Jerry's Quesnel merc. Dont think they have been seen before? jeffsled seen this yet?
Sounds great as usual! Was starting to wonder if the mailman was swiping mine, will start looking for it this week.
Wow! I thought I had missed this post for the quarter... I've had mine for almost two weeks. I picked it up at So - Cal Phoenix a couple of days after it cam out, and noticed the other day they are already out of the first batch. Good stuff this time around as always... A little too custom heavy for my taste though.
The Sam photos are in a photo album that John Barris put together and is currently at the Barris shop 2 feet from where I work. I'm not sure how many photos they used in RJ but its pretty neat.. theres a bunch of pix in it..
I got my advance copy some weeks ago, but not my subscribers issue. And I think its finally an issue again that has a nice balance between Custom Cars and Hot Rods... Just as the sub***le "published for the Custom Car and Hot Rod enthusiast" claims.
When our friends in Australia receive theirs,we guys in the states will get our copies in a month and a half? The east coast is generally last... My only complaint with TRJ.
I have been looking forward to Riks article in this issue, I have felt a little let down with the last few issues as far as custom content goes...
Someone said "custom heavy" issue. Good. It gets real old after about the 387th 32 ford.....and I think that numbers correct in about a 5 issue period.
Don't worry... even though this issue has - to me - the perfect Hot Rod and Custom Car balance, they till where able to sneak in yet another 1932 Ford. And yes, mkilger father's photo album article is really great!
