Fell in love with this car........so I am wondering what you guys would do with this........has to be early to mid-sixties gasser would be my guess?
327 with 2x4 and a muncie? Spindle mounts and piecrust slicks? I think that Norwell is going to like this. Maybe a mini-Teixeira.

You can't go far wrong with a Morris Minor, the idea of 327 e.t.c. sound good to me. I don't think I've ever relly seen a nice lookin' Gasser'd Minor, one think I do see for the future of that Minor is Wheelstands! My guess is that its early/mid 50's vintage, where is the speedo mounted?

hahaha that's funny right there,....... it might fit better but he probably wants it to run better than a SBF will let it...... and also wants it to be faster and last longer:D

The only real reason I mentioned the 327 is I own the engine trans and Ansen bell housing from the original Gold Rush sedan gasser from the mid-sixties. So I would have everything to build it. Maybe a one loop with two leg rollbar? Can someone photoshop Minor Dis-Traction on the side of the car?

327&4spd would be awesome ,driven on the street

  18. Don't matter what brand of engine want or have as long as you know how they work and stay together. More reliable. You can scatter any engine if you really want to bad enough, or make it run badly if you don't know what to do with it.
Royal, the little car looks killer as hell and should be a ton of fun. Ton of a handful with the short wheelbase. I hope yo put as much passion into this cars as your beautiful custom in the works.
Damn kid in a candy store, whatcha gonna do with him?

  19. Late 70s got a hell of a ride in a 60 minor with a 401 Buick. First time I was really scared riding shotgun street racing on 82nd avenue in Portland.

You're correct Brandon, with a 86" wheelbase they were too short for the gas classes..... (92" minimum with the exception for the Anglia which initially could only run an unblown smallblock)

Cool car though, it would be killer on the street..

    Now that is cool!

  22. with that wheelbase they get twitchy real quick. back in the day I had one with a 421 pontiac, auto, and 4:11 gears. Unbeatable for three blocks, after that you weren't driving it as much as aiming it.

Awesome score Skip!!! I like the 401 idea, but if ya got the go fast goodies already you might as well use that. The spindle mounts look damn good.

Did you get the present I left by your door??

...not the flaming bag of dog shit, that was some other guy!
