Hi All, Just Introducing Myself, A friend of my Dad's told me about this site so I joined it. Well, Anyway, I'm almost 16.. 13 days......... And I have A 1960 Biscayne that I'm going to restore this summer. We'll be putting in a 305 and TH350 Transmission into it, so I'm really excited to get started.
Welcome to the HAMB from Oklahoma! Good luck with your project. I love the '60 Biscaynes. I have a slightly less cool '60 Bel Air, but I'm crazy about it, just because it's an old car and it's mine. CH
Less Cool? No, all the Chevy Fullsize Sedans from 1960 are cool. You have More Chrome. And Chrome is good. Ecxept in 1958. Harley Went a little overboard. Didn't he order all GM Fullsize sedans to have 50 lbs. of Chrome?
Welcome from Australia. Looki' forward to seeing pics of the Biscayne. All we got over here was the Belair, even then not too many. Cheers.
Ask and Thou Shalt Receive... (not too many, because I don't have a scanner here, or a Digicam.) http://img151.echo.cx/my.php?image=biscuit31vy.png
Nice ride and welcome here. I almost picked up on a 59 2 door sedan Biscayne/Bel Air before I found the El camino. I had to have the Elky.
A guy I know has an absolutely Beautiful Candy Orange '60 ElCamino. I could just stare into the paint. Is there any way I could make the Dummy spotlights on my Biscayne Functional? I think They're pretty cool, but they are, *suprise* dummies. Could I wire them to work? Or would that be a pain in the Arse? By the way, Your El Camino is Beautiful.
Thanks! glad you like her. I'm not experienced with spotlights, but I imagine you could hook em up somehow, you just won't be able to adjust them manually from the cockpit, of course.
welcome to the hamb, im 17 now but when I was 16 I had a stock 60 impala, but I sold it at lead east. I won best stocker at the NY rumblers shows last summer to. Now i bought a 53 merc kustom project that im working on.
Yes. I've already posted them on the HAMB, so I'll e-mail you some. I don't want to waste space having everyone look at them again. CH
