Picked up a new bed for my f100 yesterday

It was a mission getting it into the bed of my truck.

 

you probably keep falling off the ladder trying to load it........

 

Haha. It took three of us....it was such a pain in the ***.

 

56 what year is your truck . That looks like a Slick bed ( 61-66). Funny its also the same color as my 62 .

That is a 1957-60 style bed,they carried them over on the 61-62 trucks.

 

Yep your right after taking a closer look it is a Fridge bed . I knew about the carry over I am a member of Slick 60's and have been for a looooooooong time . Actualy they carried that bed all the way to 63 64 was the first year of the Slicks ( other than the Uni's like mine that had a matching bed . That was on the F100's the 250's and 350's and 4X4's actually carried that bed for a while longer . My favorite Ford trucks are the 61-66 although I wouldnt turn away a 57 Mercury .
