I know the 3 window body is different from a roadster. I was wondering if there was a way to make them work on a roadster body? I have found a full set of fenders that came from a 3 window. Thanks for any help on this nsubject.

Coupe and roadster fenders are the same.

What is the mystery car and year?

If 32 Ford, I am using original fenders that came off a 3w on a 5w. No difference, holes are the same. Less of the fender shows when used on a 3w because the wheelhouse is deeper at the top.

I would ***ume roadster is the same, but can't say.

When dealing with the 32 Ford ... the rear fenders fits all coupes and roadsters :) The sedans fit all the 2 door sedans, 4 doors and the Victoria.

Coupe/roadster fenders can be made to fit a sedan ... by removing part of the upper fender.

Henry Ford did it that way also.

All the rear fenders were roadster/coupes and then modified by Ford to fit the sedans.

For the record, fenders do not make it go faster.

Duece, I may be wrong, but I think sedan fenders do not roll off to the side and down to the wheel as far as coupe.I am having trouble describing, but the fender would appear thinner from the side at the top. correct me if I am mistaken. ****

I used to have a sheet of plywood that I kept a record of the bead line on 32 rear fenders. I would take a new victim and trace the outline over the others. Never found an exact match. The fenders were hand fed into the machine that formed the edge and fed the wire.
