That even bothers me and I'm NOT a Ford guy.

  6. That just isn't right ! There ought to be a 'Save It Patrol' in every town that has a wrecking yard that buys cars just for the metal. All interested parties in 'these' town's could pool some money together forming a fund to 'Save It' for someone who will at a later date give it life again.
Dying a cruel death by fork-lift just isn't right!

  7. its sad i see that a lot i live by a s**** yard and know the ppl who own it so when i ever see something i like or in to good shape heading toward the s**** yard i hurry up and run down there before anything bad happens there has been a few though i missed. my back yard is getting a little messy i figured if i save it or i can at least sell it if i dont want it for a parts car or a project. i pick up a few nice old trucks and sedans in the 40s threw the 60s il try and get some pics maybe

I've got a '59 Ranchero I'd sell for $900. Needs a frame. 6/stick, should be able to get it running. Probably going to get parted out, nobody seems to want a project that needs any real work. If anyone actually wants to "save" one, save mine.

If you read the original post the s**** guy said he used a forklift to load it. They don't use them to make house calls. What else did he have back at the yard?

But 90% of s****ers are poor people trying to make a buck! And as being poor they think poor and never will have any thing! At lest thats how it is in my part of the state!

    So let's get this straight.
Everyone involved with that car are stupid and idiotic because they didn't sell it to the first Guy that promised to 'Save' it? Maybe they tried and the 'Saviours' weren't to be found.
Grow up.And 'S****pers' are obviously different up here because most of them are doing very well.

    Ehhhck
...kills me to see stuff like this.
Its kinda the same way with hoarders...
All around the area I live, people have cl***ics setting in fields, rotting away.
If you try to buy them/ask if theyll sell them to someone who will actually care for them...they wont. **** pisses me off to a never ending extent!

And just how many cl***ics do you think we collectively can save?
I have a dozen vehicles sitting in my yard because i have the room, not everyone does.
I part out vehicles that are beyond complete repair and have to put up with 'oh man I want it but I'm broke,or the wife just left me' blah blah.
It's gone, get over it or track it down and 'save' it.

Looks like RanchEdsel material to me. And Someone is advertising a decent 58 Edsel Front clip up here, I just need that Ranchero to go with it.

^^^ That is sad!!! I know several "s****pers" that do this also. EVERYTHING goes to the crusher!!! Unless you just HAPPEN to be there right before they haul it in...but that don't happen only once in a blue moon!

  28. Man That is sad, I love thos pick-ups, and this one looks restoeable. I would have been happy to give him 10 times what he got for s****. I saw a mid 50's Chevy shortbed pick-up heady for the s**** dealer earlier this week. Whats with these dumb ***es, do that not want to make money? Hell you could park your roll back along side the road with a For Sale-Best Offer sign and sell it in an hour for a damn site more than s**** price.

I saved a 46 chevy carryall the other week from a s****per, I gave him about the same as the s**** yard would have and gave him my card and told him not too s**** old iron to call me first. He Told me this is nothing you should have seen some of the others he had taken. I told him if he took a little time to find the right buyers he would get more, He told me he did not care, because he could get cash the same day and move on to the next one. So do your part to save our hobby, because to most cash is king and saving history don`t mean **** to the average guy.
