I am picking up my 54 chevy 210 this week, and both tail light lenses are broken. Where can I find them, and which ones do i need. I have seen inner lenses, outer lenses, and back up lenses (obviously those are not needed). So i am really confused by this whole thing. I am coming from working on Hondas and water cooled volkswagens, so it is all one ***embly you bolt on.....lol. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Norwich car show and swap meet is in a couple weeks, I'm sure someone will have a cheap set there, maybe the whole taillight. One guy sells most everything he brings for a buck each. Probably need outers, but I'd have to look at a pic to refresh my memory what they look like.
Should be two lenses upper red lower clear divided by a chrome strip in the center. Its all held together by an outer red reflector ring. Nows your chance to get some custom one peice if you dont want the reverse lights...
if you don't want the reverse light you can look for lee bubble lenses (available in two different kinds) if you want the reverse you should go original, so have half red/half clear...you can buy everything you need from the two sources that THE BRONSON is talking about... I will add '54 bezels and lee lenses to my '53, still trying to figure out if I'll need also inner lenses or if I can use '53 interiors with this setup...
