I've just picked up a 1960 Impala and it's in need of some new shoes. I was wondering if any local Portland Tire and Wheel shops stand out for price and service? Any help would be much appreciated. J

Adams Hot Rod Rubber is in S.E. Portland 503-656-1572 hurstracingtires.com

If they don't have what you're looking for, I'm sure they can steer you in the right direction. Do a search here, lots of info. Great people!

For some reason, I don't have a good smoothie reference pic so you got reversed steels instead. It's quick and dirty, but gives you an idea.

    Sweet ride!

Thank you very much, but I'm just a hack. Or maybe a hack with a vision? Yesterday someone here called me a d-bag. Hell, I'm having an iden***y crisis...lol.

    Good luck with it.

Good spotting Shooter, I had my eye on a 62 but I couldn't quiet scratch together enough. Went with the 60 but very happy with it. Shooter, I just noticed you run Beauty bar, I used to live in NYC and would walk by the one on 14th St daily.

I had an amazing breakfast there a month or two back. I need to hit that spot up again soon. I'm loving the food scene in Portland.

Will do! Nothing like a chilled beer. On a side note, I run a website and I'd love to shoot your 31 and feature it!

COOL, I'm thinking an old country road would fit the bill. Farm lands etc...? Or an iconic bridge shot near St Johns. I'll keep in touch

Wow! Great work! You need to check out the Friday Art Show here. It starts about 10pm (our time) tonight, and runs until Saturday morning before it gets put into the art archives. There is some amazing talent here in all forms of art (photography included) and from all over the world.
