Here is the album: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/?page_id=175 Well every 5th Saturday they do a cruise and car show ($2 cover that goes to a local special needs athletic field) on Old 41 Highway- aka the Dixie Highway. I got to show my A for the first time and they put it right up front as everyone enters the show- I was honored (and a little confused they wanted me up front). Anyway, enjoy! My little POS: Some old racers: Interesting little MG My wife's future truck- so she says. I wouldn't mind.
Lose the G-thug bling wheels and this could be a cool truck Traditional 80's rodding ha. More proof the 80's are coming back- maybe the new fad in rodding? RATS! KILL EM! You had to be here to see this guy crawl in and out of this thing. This is a 1 0f 1 Dodge special with lug nut delete and then addition package. YIKES- look at those rear tires.
nice pics thanks for sharing man our dixie hwy and main street here in SW ohio dont look anything like that
Yeah the Dixie Highway has a following here in Georgia- or at least from the Tennessee line to Marietta, GA. It is a wonderful stretch of old highway with some great scenery.
Living in the South is so good that it makes you wonder why anyone is willing to live in snow and ice
The old dude with the model A if he bought it new in 1928-29 thats 82 years ago he would have to have been 18-20 years old that makes him about 100 to 102 years old huh?????????????????
didn't ask, didn't question the claim. He was a cool dude anyway- could have been his dads and it was p***ed on I don't know. When you get that old you claim whatever you want to a kid like me. He knew it back to front; every detail, every ****ily replaced screw... everything.
Some of us like four seasons a year... I guess some of these comments above (and below) the pics are meant to be private jokes, right...??? R-
Looks like an OUTSTANDING show. Indy cars!!!!!!!!!!!! Where abouts is it and will you please give us some advance notice for next year! Gary
It is just a local show that happens every 5th Saturday from May till October. As for the private jokes- No, the Mopar guys know about how their cars are- Mopars always seem to be 1 of 10 or some crazy thing like that because you could add and delete so many things on them. Things like cigarette lighter delete options do not make a car 1 of 1 and more collectible. It is just funny to see what some think make a car worth more money. And I just realized i put the indy cars in there- those are from The Mitty vintage car race they hold at Road Atlanta every first weekend in May. I went to that Sunday- the morning after the car show.---- That is something real racing/ vintage car enthusiasts should make it out to.
How in the **** did I miss this?Oh yea we were at the 5th saturday cruise in Powder Springs.Gonna have to make a double run next time.
