Has anyone heard of our used Dayton Quadra SE series whitewall tires? Im not familiar with them, I know Dayton tires have been around forever but didn't know they still made whitewalls. The reason Im asking is a friend of mine has (4) p21575r15 supposedly in decent shape for $100.00. He measured them at 26.5 inches tall with 2' whitwalls. I can't really find any info online and just courious of any HAMB input.
    Thanks,
    Billy

I can't speak for the whitewalls, but I've run some of the Dayton Quadra series and they were great tires, I got somewhere around 80k miles out of them on an OT pickup. 215/75R15 is getting hard to find in anything-I'm looking for a cheap set right now for my DD and would probably buy them in a heartbeat.

Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure diamondback white walls quite often use Daytons, so that might be what you have there and if so, I've heard nothing but praise for them.

i was gonna say what paul did. sounds like a set of diamondback cl***ics using the dayton tires. i had a set of bf goodrich diamond backs that lasted about 25k miles and 8 years. no complaints at all. at the end of their lives, they went 6000 miles round trip to bonneville and back last summer.

100 bucks seems like a steal if there is any tread left on them at all.

Thanks for all the replys, I talked to some buddies today about them and they didn't know anything about Dayton whitewalls, maybe someone cut them. Good to hear the positive feedback on their wear, I don't really need 4 the same size and haven't seen them yet, if their decent I'll buy.
    Thanks again,
    Billy

They are from Diamondback. I have the 215s on the front of my 55 with 225/70s on the rear. They are rather old side though...Dayton went out of business about 4 years ago. Mine are from 2001 and I'm changing them this year due to the date.
