I haven't posted in a while...relocated to Ohio, then divorced, and didn't have the '38 to work on, so just got discouraged. Zman, If you see this post, you've got my number...call me. Other Raleigh area HAMBers, Zman in Raleigh has my '38 Chevy. I was having him build it at his shop, Rod-O-Rama, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. Since he hasn't contacted me for billing in several months, I'm ***uming he hasn't got time nor inclination to work on it. Since I have more time than money, I'd just as soon bring it on up here and work on it. I'm trying to reach him to arrange to pick it up and all the parts and he's not returning phone calls or emails. I've tried the numbers for Rod-O-Rama and his cell, and a couple of emails I had for him. I know he relocated his shop, Rod-O-Rama, to off Lake Wheeler Road (it's no longer on S. Saunders), and I've been to it, but I can't just make a run to NC without knowing if he's there. I know he's on the HAMB pretty regular. If somebody could let him know I need to talk to him about picking up my '38, I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Steve
I'll admit, nope. Like I said, I've had poor luck with email and phone, so I'm hoping he'll see the thread, or somebody that knows him will. I'll try it, though.
I was in San Antonio on business all week. Things have been real busy for me, the shop has taken a back seat for a bit. But I'm on the phone with Steve right now...
Thanks, man, I appreciate it! We'll work out the logistics, and I'll get down there when I can...probably July 4th weekend. As I said, I hate cir***stances aren't gonna let you finish it for me! Steve
