Hey guys, I've been waiting for this to come back up, but it never did, so here goes!

    Saturday the 23rd
    10:00 AM
TONY'S in Birch Run (just west of I-75, exit 136)

Let's meet in the back parking lot, and roll in as a crew to eat. (Normally, some people are already finishing their meal by the scheduled meeting time! )

The weather should be decent, so don't be afraid to drive your Hot Rod!!!

There's usually a little cruise over to a local Hot Rod shop too, but I can't say for sure if that will be included in this trip!

Any of you other GMB are welcome to add to the list of fun if I missed anything!

Got a indoor show that the bucket was invited to. Otherwise, I'd strap Frankie down and show up at Tony's!

My car is wanted elsewhere also.:D

I will try to make it to breakfast anyway, maybe strap Pete in, and bring him along. :D -Joe

FYI- In addition to the indoor charity car-show in Flint, they will be having a parking lot cruise from 2-7pm, if anyone cares.

I'm coming either in Beatnik's roadster or Rudy's roadster if he lets me "borrow" it.

    Conversation this past Thanksgiving:
Rudy: "Honey, if Big Olds isn't done by the spring you can just use the roadster."
Denise: "That's so generous of you sweetie, thanks"

    Conversation last weekend:
Denise: "Can I use the roadster next Saturday and take it to the GMB breakie"
    Rudy: "We'll see"
Denise: "What? You said I could use it if Big Olds wasn't done yet"
    Rudy: "I don't remember that"

    :D

Why don't you cruz the '48 Chevy on over?? Love to be able to check out what you've been up to lately on it.

Sorry to say no. I will not be heading home after the breakfast. I will be heading right to Rudys shop. I have been working there on the weekends lately on Big Olds's parts. If I'm to have my dash ready to install next week in Big Olds I must paint and clear it on Saturday afternoon and rub it out on Sunday. Play time will come soon enough after I finish Big Olds.

  13. I'll be there with the'40 Chevy unless the creek gets too high. Ohio Blue Tip from the RRT will be my guest.

I'd offer you a ride Mike but that back seat isn't even fit for a little kid.

HA! you actually think i've worked on the 47 enough that i could drive it out?? :D HA HA HA! thats a good one.

lately i've worked on alot of things but none of them were the 47. i patched the floors in Springer's 50 Chevy pickemup, chopped the top on the same (still not "DONE"), worked on Donzie's 50 Chev a little bit (finishing touches on the chop), i've been getting my buddie's S10 ready for a repaint and a flame job (i got it pretty well ready for paint tonight. paint it thursday.), dad and i have been spending quite a bit of time putting the motor together for my daily driver and i spent most of today pulling the old motor and trans out of the truck. gonna power wash the engine compartment and paint it in the next few days. i do have another motor to drop in the 47 and i bought a cherry picker the other day so i'll work on it soon. just gotta get the daily up and runnin again.

Charlie: not a problem. i think i'm going to take my brother's buddy up to look at a modified project a friend has for sale in St. Johns on saturday.

I fired up the '32 before I went to Ohio to help my mom with her house Monday. Just got back today so I'll be getting plates and insurance tomorrow. If the oil pressure gauge moves Sat. morning I'll be there. Think I'll get my long johns out, I don't have a heater and it looks like it going to be cold Sat. morning. The first drive in the hot rod in the spring makes me smile regardless of the weather.

The northern GMB's try to do our part to create the next oil crisis. 4 people- 4 cars. We don't need no stinking car pools. :D

    All,

Denise and I made an executive decision about THE LOCATION of the GMB breakfast. Let's all meet at The Exit Diner instead of Tony's. It is directly accross I75 from Tony's. They can handle BIG groups better and have a killer breakfast buffet. He can all sit at one big table and it's quiet enough to actually hear each other. So it's on the north east corner (Tony's is on the north west corner). If you are heading North on I75 you turn right instead of left at the light and an immediate left. You can't miss it. See you there.
