Great idea. They might be findable in LA, but not here in the northeast. The only potential problem I see is that they were inexpensive back then, so people will expect them to be inexpensive now, no matter how much it costs you to tool up to make them. Best wishes.
Yep, I agree. It looks like there is an interest in them, though. If they are truly going to be Made in the U.S.A., then I applaud them and wish them well. With all the silly rules and regs that a manufacturing facility has to go through, and the current cost of chroming, they aren't going to be cheap like they were back in the day. They would look OK on my trailer, not on my car.
I also like the old cast center caps they used to have, they said A/FX on them, I know where a couple of them are.
Would love a set in either 14x6 or 15x6 with a 4 on 4 1/2" pattern for the ranchero. Oh, mind the back space too...
