I bought this old Ford that was part of the postal service at one time. I cant find photos anywhere of the rig and I was hoping that someone here might be able to help me with finding more information in the rig.

  8. First off you should properly introduce yourself. Then for better results post your questions in the general area.

Good Evening, My name is Eddie Wood from North Carolina. Until recently I owned a 1971 FORD postal van like the one you have. If i remember correctly it is called a G100. It is basicly a two wheel drive, right hand steer FORD BRONCO based van. Rather than a front drive axle it has a simple tube axle. The front bumper, gauge cluster. steering column/wheel and the emergency brake is also of BRONCO origin. The entire drivetrain is also BRONCO based. You have a very good vehicle that will serve you well in stock or custom form. The only thing I dislike about those vans is the fact that the flat non tilted glass acts as a mirror of sorts in night time driving. I hope that I have been of some help to you. Best Regards, Eddie Wood
