I saw it on the PDX CL last week. I think they were asking 15K? I figured it was jumped on quickly. Enjoy you new project.
thought you were joking... unbelievable!!! maybe the best untouched survivor??? hope you keep it as found for our grandchildren can see how they came from factory! congratulation!!!
That would make a sweet g***er!!! Haha, couldn't resist, I've seen that a thousand times on this site. Looks like it fell into the right hands, can't even fathom the condition! Unreal!
I rather read the posts here. It's too depressing to find something good and then not be able to afford buying it. I recently saw a 29 Pierce Arrow on cl for only $2500 that was a barn find. It looked fairly solid and complete. Had to p***.
Beautiful car and a rare one at that. You have the right idea. Leave it as it is, they are not making them anymore.
That's funny, I bought that one too but got it for $1500, it's rough as a cob but it has a full set of Buffalo wires. I sold a coupe a few years ago and am buying it back just to use the wheels.
Man that thing would make a sweet highboy roadster Rat Rod, but I'd put a mazda 4banger in it for economy. Flat black, flames, skull grille, good pop up Camaro headlights and front end and I have the sweetest set of big fat whitewall radials on red pressed steel mags. Man that would be so sweet!! Great score, so what are current rust bucket prices? I am willing to give you an extra $14.50 on top, may even go $15!! Doc.
I saw that car on cl also, I didn't even call as I figured if it wasn't a scam it was already gone. Great score. 41plym
Great Find!!On the leather, try using Lexol. Not the watered down **** you get at the auto parts place, but the good stuff you get at the saddle and tack shops.
Sorry for the hi-jack, so it was rougher than it looked? How bad is the car? Sounds like you got it for a heck of a price.
