How low have you gone on your 63-66 C-10?

I'm staying with coil springs, planning on just cutting them down. I may entertain drop spindles if they make them for drum brakes.

    How low have you gone?

This is for my 61 Suburban, running a 66 C10 front suspension. Right now the front end is sitting stock, the rear end is about 13" from the ground to the back bumper with 235/75/15 tires.

Any info would help, pics would be great!

    Thanks again,

    Evan

My 65 is lowered 2 in inthe front and 2 and a half in the back. I just cut on ring out of the spring and put blocks in the back. Rides fine with no problems.

Thanks. That's what I was wanting to get a feel of, how much drop you actually get from a certain cut. I'll probably start with one ring, as I don't know how much drop I really have in the rear, since I was dealing with a leaf sprung 4x4, lift blocks, add a leaves, and all.

I know cutting 2 coils is too much on these trucks on the front.

3 inch lowering springs up front, and 6 inch in the back. I agree that 2 cutting 2 coils would look cool, but be too low!!!
