measurement needed model a door handle door

    Need asap I know you guys rock.Im installing the door handles today and need approx stock center 29 ford

    I'm not exactly sure what you're asking. Interior or exterior handle?

    I have to drill a hole in my door to mount exterior handle ,I need the measurement down from top of door and from the side ,As close to center of shaft as possible for exterior door handle shaft

    On my coupe it's 3 1/2" down and 1 1/2 from the side. Hope that helps. It's approximately 15/16" diameter and the mounting hole are 1 1/2" apart.

    If you have a roadster you will be best to have measurements from a similar door to be sure.
    Closed car doors are so much different visually so there maybe other differences.
    I am sure somebody out there would have a door or a car they could measure off.
    I have a door, but I am not home right now.

    Roadster doors are roughly 4 " shorter than a coupe door . Why not put the latch in and sharpen up an old rod and mark it from the inside.

    Not using stock latches ,Bear claws ,Gl*** car ..............

    Done ,Thanks chemin Your measurements got me in the ballpark ,I modified the measurements ......... ebay pics 1286.jpg
