there's no way my car would be finished with out the many hamb guys that have volunteered to get it going over the last 4+ years. soooo, if you know anybody that is disabled *and* requires hand controls to drive, please bring 'em to the hamb drags. i'm extending an invite to make a pass in my catalina. it's not going to be terribly fast, but any day at the drag strip is a good day.

it is set up with hand brake/throttle for those that don't have use of their legs or feet, so quads, paras or amputees can give it a shot. it has a spinner knob as well, those missing an arm or hand are welcome too.

obviously, i would prefer that you are cleared to drive a regular car or van, as the track is probably not the greatest place to try it for the first time.

also, if any pontiac experts are available, we could probably use a little tuning help/advice. it's hard to reach everything in the engine compartment from a wheelchair.

thanks jim, that's not necessary, but i appreciate the offer.

if there's anybody that doesn't want the pressure of trying to stage and race, see me friday night at the hotel lot, they can take it for a spin.
