Wondered what happened. Seen you rolling out on the paved exit road as we came back from a burger and market run.

I put a blower on it and hadn't got the fuel pressure worked out. Leaned out real bad and ran a pissy 101. The slowest its ever run. On the second run I had a bolt shear on the shift linkage. Couldn't stay for Sunday. I had to be back in Riverside. We'll be back for June.

Thanks! I thought they were banned at one time after someone crashed a '27 T roadster with an engine in the back.

They were banned for a long time. The cl*** now has a minimum w.b. of 140" with a max of 190". The short w.b. cars had a tendency to go around and fly when backwards. The longer w.b. seems to have cured that problem.

  8. Thank you, Doug, for taking these great pix and taking the time to post them for us.
We are still on cloud nine after our 201.413mph p*** and gaining entry into the "Dirty Two" Club on Saturday.
Those burgundy hats are a pretty exclusive commodity - although this weekend, 6 new Club members were minted, thanks to a decent course surface and lots of "El Mirage Horsepower" (i.e. a strong tail wind).
    Thanks again!

Good meeting you finally as well. I dont know how to make speed but I know how to make look good? And yes we are having a BLAST, plus the fact I got to see my son getting involved. AAAHHHH, it dont get much better than this!! A few others had came by but I dont remember who?? KUAI, FIRINGORDER1, BEEF STEW and others? BAD(I'll be there)BOB, where were you?? haha. One of these meets we need to seriously try and organize an "official" meet and greet?

I swear, I looked for the HAMB banner....I cruised up and down and I guess it might have been flapping in the breeze....well, maybe next time.....I get in kind of a "mode" with a lot of tunnel-vision when I'm at any events, so I don't always "see" the big picture....so-to-speak...I shot 842 photos in 5 hours.....that's even a bunch for me.

A HAMB banner was @ LANCE-SPEED's camp on the back of a trailer. Was not the one Bad Bob brings along.
