Who is going to The Goodguys Nashville show next weekend. This will be my first time and looking forward to it.
My son and I will be there. Sure hope it warms up by then.Kinda tired of all this cloudy cool weather. It is usually a good one.
The wife and I will be there but the '41 isn't finished yet, so we'll just be looking and taking pictures.
me and old carlos will be there. he is pissed tho, just got back from florida and he didn't get to go!!!
I will be there representing Sentinel Classics in the vendor area. I hope I will be able to take some pix and meet fellow HAMBers. If you find us ask for Stavros, Ill have pleanty of pix of my new ride!!
Can't wait to see Carlos brought across the river to Coyote Ugly, Tootsies, and the Stage to cut a rug with NashVegas's finest. Bet Bruce doesn't notice Carlos is gone until someone post pics on the HAMB!
We are " tentatively scheduled " to be there , we'll see ? Haven't been to a Good Guys event before !
I'll be there, but not until Friday evening. Me and the pickup will be at the show Saturday only, gotta be home by 5pm....Dang it!!! Sounds like next year I'll be there for the whole weekend!
ill be leaving out thurs night headed there in the 32 5 window from meridian ms. lookin forward to it
Goodguys? I moved from upstate NY last summer to Tennessee, just south of Nashville. I always atended the Syracuse Nats for a three day good time. Entered two cars for a fee of $65 and got four pases. The Nats draws from 5000 to 7000 cars and has lots of car stuff all weekend. The Right Coast Asso, who organizes the event also gives away a high guality hot rod from Dave Tuccis shop every year.(see pic) I checked out the Goodguys Nashville site and the event is members only, that pretty much sucks! They should call it the good-ol-guys club. The weekend fee for one car and two passes is $75, WTF! It looks like the Goodguys are good at ripping people off. I understand these things cost to produce but, this is way out of line. Maybe it's time for the Nashville area to think about some other organizers. 2009 Syracuse Nats givaway car
I hear ya. The entry fees have gotten out of hand. It gets so expensive that it takes the fun out of it. Seems like they should let the show cars in free since they are the main draw/attraction and charge the spectators wanting to see them.
I'm gonna try and be there Sat and Sun (gotta work Friday), just watching the weather right now though. And for all you out-of-towners, there are two good cruise-ins right down the road from Nashville. Friday night behind Belks at the Avenue Mall in Murfreesboro and Saturday night at Chick-Fil-A at the Providence Mall in Mt. Juliet. Something else to do if you're interested.
Wife and I will be there Friday and Saturday. Hope the rain stays away. We will be in the pickup! First time out other than the Bunny Run.
The truck looks great. Don't worry about the rain, I told it to hold off until Monday or Tuesday so it will be clear for the show.
My first time and I had a blast. I was thinking that parking in a huge parking lot at a stadium would suck. I was terribly wrong. I got to meet some great people this weekend and will add this event to my yearly list. Cool rides cool people and a great event, just can't get any better.
One of the neat things about this site is that they actually have TREES! Imagine, there is shade for the times you want to sit in your chair and just visit or rest. That makes it a nice place for this show, IMO. Also, there is plenty to do in Nashville after hours. Just do it!
Carlos is SAFE...unconfirmed rumor, two poor boys in one ugly lil yellow jalopy abducted the Carlos creature and took him for the ride of his life around the Autocross course. Carlos was returned to his owner's Elcamino muttering Spainglish jibberish. The smile seems permanently plastered on his face. Evidence, errr a pictures of Carlos travels may soon surface. That all depends on if big Bruce
