Hot Rods The "KOSMIKART" 60's inspired Show car

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by lockwoodkustoms, Apr 16, 2011.

  1. Let me work up a set of chrome steelies for it... After looking at it, I think the whole front axle it pushed to the drivers side... it's all in layers so I can change it.

Hey Joe, I like the Caddy elements a lot. very cool.
here's the "Kosmic Gypsy" bubble top I mentioned to you that my buddy John, in new Zealand, is building. He's molded the body and is well under way. These drawings are to inspire you and your build.

Here's the color mock up I did. The interior features '59 Chevy dash pods and gages.
The tail lamps are falcon units.

This is the sketch that I developed from the above while I was developing the Gypsy drawing.

Glenn, I hope I can come close to this when it is finished

  13. You are going to have to add a wedge above the widest part of the body (or remove a wedge from below it) to get it to have that rake from the drawing. I also skipped one of the character lines, and I changed the offset of the center of the back wheel to be deeper... the next time I post it, it'll be there.

Well, after alot of thinking and lookimg int our very own "Metalshapes" Roadster I will be making this a unibody style car. This way I can get more room in the ****pit and give the car a cleaner look underneath.
