55-56 ford repo parts, tell us what you need!

hey guys, we have been making a lot of stuff for the 55/56 ford for awhile now. our "what to do next" is empty for this car. so chime in and toss out some idea's

the latest news is: the floor braces are done 4 rows for sedan and 5 rows for hardtop and converts.

The very rear body mount needs to be reproduced,I got lucky and found one that was perfect to use to patch the one on my 55. It would have been perfect to use for a pattern but tried contacting a couple manufactures before cutting it up but none were interested,I should still have whats left but its missing about 5 inches of the ends.

 

rear body mount before the rear axle or behind under the trunk floor????

please xplain exactly where

 

Full quarters or at least from the stainless down,inner rear wheelhouse,last 10" of trunk floor,as said before long body support at the rear,spare tire well,lower cowl pieces in front of rocker. enough for now.

 

The mount under the trunk floor,if not the whole mount at least the ends since they tend to rust away there.

 

I would also like to see full quarters that go half way up,I dont like having to piece the lower halves togather.

 

Roof panel for the 56 F100...junked far too many otherwise good cabs for want of a roof.

 

I was at your site the other day looking for floor pans for a '54 Ford and was surprised to find that you offer very little. Maybe you could start making floor pans, fender patch panels, quarter panel patches (or entire quarters) and the like for them? Just a thought

 

I do have a NOS 55 p*** side quarter panel that could be used for a pattern along with both front fenders.

 

how about some 52 customline parts no body has anything for them

 

I second the 56 F100 roof section. If just to the seam on back of the cab would b.e good.

 

i will look into this part, we make it for other cars so a 55/6 version should be ok to do> p.s i could us the piece you have left if we can get it from you?

how does the main trunk floor rust?

 

52/54 is in the works for 2011/12 lot of stuff coming soon. i think i have a 52/4 thread on this topic??

 

we do front half and rear half of the 1/4, not likley to do a full lower half (remember the 4door guys)

 

My trunk floor rusted out above the very rear mount ends which only required flat pieces of steel to repair but the spare well could be a issue.

 

I'm still waiting for the repops of the front fender patches and rear quarters patches for my 54 Ford Customline. You're last 2 catalogs said, this spring would be ready, but every time I call, you guys tell me no... Whats up? are you going to pop these items or not?

 

Hum, the fact that I logged on to this thread and found 2 (outta 15) posts about the same thing I was gonna recommend should tell you that you might look at roof panels for 56 Ford pickups.

My tailpan is pretty banged up and so is the are on both sides under the tail lights where the rear of the quarter **** up to the tail pan that makes the seam. I dont want to lose that seam. Do you make all three peices?

 

They make the 55-56 tail pan and it fits pretty good!

 

i would like to see for the 52-54 ford car...replacemnet hood hinges...ones that wont bend or bind...
and id like to see a complete rubber kit for the doors... just let me order a KIT to replace every rubber/felt piece in the door...i dont want to order every single piece ....
and how about the tunnel for the floor board..between the multiable trans and rust mine looks pretty bad,,and the area between the rear floor boards..hump area..

 

I know they make the tail pan but I need the tworear quarter parts that join to it.

 

No offense but forget the 4 door guy and repop this as a single piece and you will sell the hell out of it more 2 doors get restored than 4 doors...

 

Seem to remember that the front cross member tends to rot out quite often on these cars.
Have p***ed on a couple of otherwise pretty nice cars because of that issue.

 

So what about the rear of the quarters that attach to the tail pan?

although we do resell dennis carpenter rubber parts we hve no control of how dc packages there products

the trans cover is on the list of things to do
