What's up fellas and girlies? My name is Mario and I am from Montebello CA. I joined the H.A.M.B about a month ago but never took the time to introduce myself. I have to start off by saying this is the best forum I have seen with car info. Especially for the car I am currently restoring which is a 1954 Chevy Bel Air Hardtop. Every question I have had about customizing/fabricating the 54 I have seen on this site at least once if not more. Well I just wanted to stop by to introduce myself and hopefully I will be able to help add to this m***ive knowledge base of fun we call the H.A.M.B. Cheers, Mario
Thanks the welcomes fellas. I have posted some pics below of my 54. I took the pics from the add of the guy I bought the car from. I picked up the car about a month ago and haven't done much but get ideas from the HAMB. I am looking into C-notching the car with a 4 link and putting a mustang II front end. I plan on making the car full air ride from front to back.
Welcome from Mira Loma, ca. Looks like a great start. Building a 53 ht myself. Mustang II up front and 4 link with cantilever in the rear. hit me up if you have any questions. Jason.
Thanks Jason. I looked at the pics of your 53 and she is looking sweet. I really like the stance. Thats how low I want my 54 to lay. I saw that you C notched the front of your frame. Was that for the rack and pinon to have clearence? Or to the lay the car lower? Thanks Hombres Ruin. I do have a lot of work cut out for me. Probably more than I am willing to admit. But it will all be worth it once she is done and rolling down the streeets. Oh by the way, that is a sick *** red paint job that you have on your shoebox. Does it have a light flake in it? Thanks Farmer24. I checked out your build thread and all I can say is DAAAAAAMMNN!!! That is one sick build. Straight bad ***...
