I love all things mechanical. There is nothing better than a simple machine that can be repaired with a hard work, mechanical skill, and a little know how. I am starting a 1927 ford, flathead powered roadster. I can tell this is the best place to find the know how. My kids are at the age they will enjoy helping with this project. I am looking forward to being a long time HAMBer, and maybe have some know how to offer one day. Thanks for all the info I have already obtained from past threads. HAMB is a great resource!
Welcome from the West Coast of Florida. I wise mechanic told me years ago that if you learn to listen to an engine running it will tell you what's wrong with it and I have learned over the years that this is true. I have seen many guys in drag racing who could listen to an engine run and tell you what was wrong with it why it was not running faster. This skill takes years to learn.
Thanks, I like what I see of your 27' I will probalby be firing questions your way, if you don't mind. I decided to fabricate everything I can from scratch. So I am sure I will be scratching my head plenty.

Hello, and welcome from California. I've spent a lot of time at Ft. Knox off and on over the past few years. That's a nice part of the country! Dan
