Awesome sedan delivery. You looked like Wooderson from the movie Dazed and Confused.

Here's a 1963 LeRoy Grannis photo of my 30 Panel at the Redondo Break Brake water.
Bought it in 1959 with a four banger, then a little later a V8 Flat head and then to this with a 57 Pontiac a 55 Pontiac 4 speed Hydo.
    To much fun.
After a 40 yr.stint in our barn were occasionally back on the road

Thanks for the LeRoy Grannis photo comment's , HOTRODSURFER, Jay71 and a whole bunch of other Friends, Surfers and Hot Rodder's and especially my family for keeping my first car..
That picture is in HRJ #9 and the Grannis book Surf photgraphy of the 60's and 70's,
I only found out last summer about this photo, since then its been crazy with excitement.
The best part I still have my Panel, the OLE surf board ended up in the desert lost for ever.

"Granny" Grannis unfortunately just p***ed away last February. He was still catching waves well into his late eighties. You could see him in the line-up most mornings at Tamarack Beach in Carlsbad.....RIP Granny. :(

That '30 A panel is AWESOME!!! I love it. Thanks for sharing.

There's no surfing in Texas, but I am accepting any surfboard donations!! :D They may be a bit nerdy, but those are '50s wooden skis.

My 10' Ole will fit inside with the tailgate closed. It would be a lot more roomy with it sticking out the back, and cooler looking, but the fumes tend to draft right into the interior. Also, its much safer from getting ripped off while you're having some breakfast and warming up inside some cafe.

Waterskis work a lot better in North Texas than surfboards do.
Some time I'll tell you about the time a buddy was watersking down the gutter of 19th St. in Lubbock, after one of their rare downpours there. (G)

Cool 47! My mom lives up in San Simeon. I surf that area quite often. I'll keep my eyes open for your Ford next time I'm up there.

Bob "OLE" Olson still shaping beautiful boards on Maui.
There really should be a "World's Oldest (active) Shaper" award.
    Born before your panel?!
