I found this old NOS part in my fathers garage and cant figure out what it is for. The GM part # on the box is 147459 and is labeled as an extension, hand written on the box is a 1968 Cadillac and on the other box a 1967 Cadillac. I researched those years cadillacs and found no part that looks like them. I think it is a left and right hand sided as well, can anybody help??? :(

Well, I've never seen anything like that, either! Oh, wait--I can't actually see it at all. :) Could you please post a pic?

They look like side trim moldings or maybe interior trim moldings but I have never seen anything like that on a Cadillac.

  6. Grille extension 55-58. Here's one from a 63 I found while researching yours.
