Hey can we have more ****ed up **** I'n the rust revival threads on here please! I would just love for no one to show up next yr so we can go broke and never do it again! **** me! When I get time to do a thread, please keep all ur *****ing and ******** to yourselfs please! I know it only cost us 40 bucks to put the show on, and barely have to do any work, but please refrian from stupid **** on my thread! Rolling my ****ing eyes.....

  3. Sooooo, on a lighter note. :D Let's hijack this thread back to the cars & the fine folks who put it together.

I hoped to have my '57 BelAir ready for this year's event but I got sidetracked when my neighbor put his '31 Model A up for sale. It needs a LOT of work to get it back on track (narrowed 9" & 13 x 16.5s :() but I thought I'd drive it up anyway and just park out by the highway. Got up Sat. morn. to see showers out the window, and since the A has no roof, .......... and I'm an old wimp, I jumped in the truck and headed 125 miles North to Wayland.

Had a fun day hanging out with old friends & meeting new ones. Huge Thanks to Todd & the Kropdusters for their work and dedication.

    Grabbed a few pix too.

First off; some guy that kept showing up no matter which direction I walked.

And this shot just makes me smile.

Drive a while, stop and take a nap...Drive for a while, stop and take a nap...Drive for a while, stop and take a nap....Well here it is Monday afternoon, just got home from the Rust Revival.

Scott, you're right, I think coming over there just to kabitz with you and Brenda on one of the reasons I show up every year. Like you, I just had to have a couple of the steak sandwiches there at Breeder's and Shanna's place.

Mike, Yes I complimented to you about your wife's uph job, but it is her I should have given the kudo's to. Please do it for me, OK?

Breeder, too bad the sun did come out on Saturday, now you really look like a Red Neck......;).

Cathrine, (Dumb *****), I knew I should have proposed to you first a few years back, but under the cir***stances, the better man did win your hand.:)

BobK, you were supposed to get up early and go to breakfast.. Derby and me didn't wait, as you can tell. :p

To the many others there this past week-end, I was able to meet up with and jabber jaw with a bit, good to see you there again.

Hey everyone, here's a new one for you. On Sundays, the day after the night before, those of you that go back to the east, if you take 136 across the river to Hamilton, the Hamilton cafe is the place to have a great breakfast.:)

Anyway, back to the R.R. The hard core South Omaha Turds made it, Rob Lee and ****. **** really got to show off his work for everyone. ****, that guy next to me there on the bench kept swearing up and down that was fibergl***. He just couldn't believe how smooth all that sanding came out.

What else? Oh, I had a good time again as usual, even though this year I didn't have the HellRaiser there.:(

Thanks for these photos Scott, and I'm sure I'll see you and Brenda down the road somewhere.:):):)

P.S. I never did see any cops, either on Friday night or Saturday.:D

I better not forget to include Charlie Manson, I believe it was him and who I presume was either his wife/girlfriend/significant other? and a couple of little kids in tow, I saw there again.:)

xderilict, it ain't like the first R.R. is it, down at the bar on a Friday night? I never did make hay, did you? I don't think I'd ever be able to sleep again at nights, knowing I might have contributed to repopulating Wayland:eek:

Reading this post and the other posts with pictures and words of pearly wisdom, I think the theme of the H.A.M.B. has come thru. The rides get us together, but it's the getting together of folks who enjoy making, driving, and just plain enjoying traditional hot rods and customs as they were more than a half century ago.

I know, a place a long time ago, in a far, far away place...The U.S.A. as it used to be with it's traditions...

Anyway, there are more get togethers the rest of the year, all over the world for that matter, for H.A.M.B.'ers. Get out, even if you have to take your daily driver, while your traditional ride is being built, or you're between rides. Let the other H.A.M.B.'ers put a face to your name, meet the others in your family, and tell some tall tales of daring and do while you're at it.:):):)

Do it for THE FUN OF IT:)

Not sure who owns it but it was built by Shawn Carter at Zoo Keeper Ch***is in Lisbon Iowa. I believe it has Jones County plates on it so it is from Eastern Iowa.
