Today car went to upholstery shop so in next week I should have some new pictures. Upholstery will be done in black and orange tuck and roll .

Need some opinions about the exhaust as am trying to decide between running bellflower pipes and running pipes out the rear bumper. pictures of both styles are below, which one do you guys think will look better?

There are only two words to describe that car, "awe" "some"!!!! That thing transformed from cool, to a work of art! I love it!! Oh, and IMHO the bell flowers would suite that car perfectly!

Justin, I'd run the exhaust out the back. I think the bellflowers distract the eye away from the paint job, which should be the focal point. My eyes go straight to the bellflowers. I think I would hide the exhaust, like behind the bumper with some turndowns. When its dumped, all you see is paint and wheels and tires. Clean!

I'd run Bellflower tips on it. That car rules.

    Amazing paint job!!!
I would go for the bellflower tips, in my opinion the chrome off the tips would fit perfect with the flakes!!!(my 2 ct)

Thats true and At present time Ive filed a claim with Hagerty regarding the stolen parts so hopefully they will cover them since the paint shop says they can not afford to replace the parts they lost.

I ran across this post researching painting. Sorry to hear the shop lost your parts. I have to say you did a real awesome job on the paint. Thanks for posting the process. Any future projects in mind?

Man, that sucks about the trim. The same happened to me, but it was a chrome shop in Cleveland. My advise, take a deep breath, start looking on flea bay. If you email sellers of stuff from Catalina parts and ask if they have the items you need, you will find it and not have to go through the auction process. Just tell them your story, and you will be surprised at the generosity of strangers. I've been running a Newport grill in my 300 because I could not find a decent one. People will still appreciate your car despite the lack of correct trim.
