go to a car dealer , they have tons on new fancy paints to look at, I work at one and I think about paint colors all day. almost any new color would work with black. black and reds, black and tans, black and blues ect
you guys ROCK!!!! lookin more for the primer with diff color top... not the entire 2 tone cars... LOTS of help so far... im thikin of black on bottom, primer grey on top, or vice versa... just cause it will make the top look lower until i can chop it.... any ideas? this paintjob has to be sort of basic and easy to pull off, it will only last a few months im guessing... chop work should begni in a week or two.... THANKS GUYS!!! ps- car is a 51 plymouth 2 door if anyone feels like photochopping for fun... only hard thing is it has 52 caddy fins and tails, LOL... i LOVE IT! pics soon...
What can I say, I like COLOR. Grey and black are a little overdone IMO. Especially over the last year. Imagine how bitchin your car would look in flat versions of those colors. Or shiny even.
agreed... and i am open to ANY possibilities... just tryin to see some pics.. SERIOUSLY considering a flaked out roof.....
hey moose buddy... pipes are GREAT... cant talk enough about em... ever need a reference, send em my way! only troubles im having is getting chokes hooked up and running correct... cant find a way for some reason... usin universal choke cables... got any ideas??? im mopar stupid... This is how I did mine. One cable, and a connecting shaft made from a 1/4" aluminum tube. works just fine

here's my '51 Chevy. you can tell what color the body is, but the top is HoK Kandy Apple Red with some flake added in... but the flake doesn't come out in the picture.
Rocky, in what year was that pic taken? Mine in 94, basecoat purple with some flattener added, no clearcoat. Bottom half black epoxy primer. how it is now epoxy primer, all 3 shades.
