Hey Larry! I have some good pics of that Candy Gold 50 merc convert, Akers Candy red 50 merc convert, the black 51 convert how it was when you did it. That wwas the best convert roof I ever saw. In a few hours, Ill think o some more that you are not showing in your albums. You were cool to me when I was a kid! Glad youre enjoying your self.
LarryI have to say that I don't like everything you have built, but to be painfully honest with you I don't like everything I ever built either. You do have some beautiful cars in your albums and obviously have quit a bit of talent. You are a welcome addition to the HAMB. I will be looking for your responses to questions asked and your build threads. I intend to learn all I can from you.
Larry I got to talk to you several times back in the 90's , around the time of Merauder and I was there when you won king of the mercs in 94. to a young guy just getting started you were quite an inspiration.
You have definately built some beautiful rides! and seems to me you have some serious talent there pal!!
that steering wheel in the C cab is crazy. and that 50 merc 'merroder' is very sleak, usualy not my style but it is kinda cool looking
Hey Larry, looks like you've done some really nice work over the years! Welcome to the HAMB. I see you're retired, but you're only 70. Build just one more...lots of inspiration here on the HAMB.
Larry, I be 70 in April, 2012 & have several project car & trucks. One is a '51 merc 4-dr sled. Could you recommend someone in South La. or Tx. to chop the top? New at this.
Larry, first of all congrats on your win over cancer..that's most important. I read your profile and I am impressed at your long history of cars. I like all your cars except the vette. however I can apreciate the craftsmanship that went into it .Sorry to hear of your injurys. Keep your chin up as you have a lot to look back on. thanks for sharing your life with us....Good luck ...John
I salute you. Many will not recall the "Merc/Deuce" reunion(s), and the resurgence of customs. "King of the Mercs" is quite an honorific, and in your case well deserved.
Hey Larry, I have checked out your albums before. You have certainly built a lot of cool customs over the years! You were building traditional customs in a time when not many other people were building them. Your modern custom interpretation, the "Merrodder", I think in time, will become appreciated as one of the great builds. ... A few changes have been made to the Larry Ericson designed, Larry Kramer built custom... ...
