Art & Inspiration Can You HAMBERS Help me design a Hot Rod Logo

I am trying to make a Logo for me free online Magazine about Drag Racing and Hot Rods (like a blog but it looks more like a news site). I am trying to make a good logo for it, I am good at running websites but I am bad with graphic design.
I can probably put the design together if I had the right fonts and images, I want to make it look like a 50's Parts company logo with a lot of Red, some black and some yellow/ white kind of like Clay Smith and early Edelbrock logos.
I want to some how include a G***er in the logo or atleast just a Hot Rod, can you HAMBERS help me out?
