Kiwi's in California Sept-Oct 2011

Hey Guys,
Forgive me if this is O/T. Might a little early in the piece but a group of us are heading over to to the U.S September 22 ,for just over 3 weeks. Will be staying in and around CA and Vegas and looking at taking in as much cool shit as possible, cruise nights, shows, swapmeets etc etc, and would be great to meet up with fellow Hamber's.
Any insights as to whats happening around that time would be great, have already got a couple shows and Pomona booked in, anything else would be awesome

Donut Derelicts car show in Huntington Beach, CA. Best FREE car show on the West coast. Every Saturday morning from about 5:30am to 8:30am. It's worth the 5,000 mile flight.

Since you're Kiwis,I would suggest a visit to KiwiSteves Shop in Brea,and ,of course,Kiwikevs house in Ventura! Then there's the usual NHRA Museum,Peterson Museum,Anti-donut Breakfast in Hunington Beach,Ventura Nats in Ventura,LimeySteves Shop in Whittier(Limeworks),Hollywood Hotrods in Burbank. Give me a minute,i'll think of a few more...

 

After the D/donuts go to Anti-donuts breakfast and have breakfast there..
They are a good crew...

October 15 and 16, Gene Winfields open house/show. It is an amazing event. Don't miss this one!!

 

From the 22nd to the 6th we will be staying in Huntington, but will be cruising all around LA etc, from there off to Vegas till the 11th then we will be in the Perris area.
