    Here are a few shots of the cross-member on my 54. They are very similar if not the same as the 55-56 (my brethren, please correct me if I'm wrong). They all shared the same chronic rust issue.

    Are the parts made here or are they made in China like a lot of repopped stuff I've seen by other suppliers?

    Hey chop top, I bought my crossmember for my 56 on ebay it was an nos one. They are in there here and there.

    Hey EMS , so do you have the rear of the quater that connects the tailpan for 55-56 fords? I mentioned it before but no reply. I really need both of them so I can keep that seam.

    if the frames are perfectly exact like 55/56 then maybe, but were are not likely to venture from body panels

    I was at the nsra nats in Knoxville, a few years ago looking for truck parts for my 40. They said they didn't make truck parts, I asked why not? and the guy just turned around and walked off. Talk about a rude s.o.b. I wanted to welcome him to the south the ole fashioned way. Probably won't ever by from ems. If I had to I would pound out what I need myself.

    ======================

    sorry you had a bad experience, we try to take all the time to answer all questions, the bad part of the shows is that we are pulled in alot of different directions, we did not try to be rude, most likely there was another person waiting to speak to us. at time some folks wait 20 min to talk to us. and we try hard to get to every one and answer the question,if there is someone waiting we will not b.s much. we it is slower ( late afternoon) we are happy to be involved in longer discussions. if it was raining outside( almost every knoxville) then we would have been swamped. i always bring my kids or the gf's kids or both ( 2 + 2 = 4 ) for the last 6 years so i have to watch them to! if it was at noon then i would have going to the hamber meet/greet

    there are more things we do not make than we do. our business is basically built on cars. we do not make anything before 1935, make only ford and chevy, do not do chev tri-5's, and do not do pickup trucks parts of any year ( expect for the few losers we were talked into many years ago). and our business plan most likley will not change

    I couldn't find the 52-54 Ford thread in your history, only 53-54 chev....but if you start a 52-54 Ford thread, watch how many people need/demand hood hinge boxes!!! Last I had seen, nobody made 'em and everyone needs 'em (I did once. Those hoods ALWAYS fly up!)!:cool:

    You are missing out on a very large market, the 56 F100 is one of the most popular and sought after trucks today. China makes almost all the other panels for this truck...sure would be nice to have a US company in the mix.

    How about a fordor 55 dog leg section ? I can find any but for a tudor that goes with the front 1/4 panel . I bought the rear 1/4 section from you for my 55 Fairlane but since it was a fordor I don't think you have a front 1/4 section that is the dog leg section .

    How about outer wheelhouses, they seem to rust at the same rate as the quarter panel replacement sections that you make?
