Whats up all. It seems like every time I search for info on my car I get the best results from you guys and gals on the H.A.M.B. I figured joining would help me learn more about the traditional ways and maybe make some new friends in the process. I recently bought a 1941 ford coupe... or whats left of it lol. I also picked up a 59A-B flathead with it. It needs alot of work but its perfect for a 50's custom!

Hey - I'm in WPB. Nice! It looks pretty solid - but what do I know. ;)
I'm restoring some 60's Volvos; one of which has 40's styling (fenders/split front window/whatnot.) However, not only are Volvos not cool on hamb, BUT I'm more a color and styling nut. PM me if you are going to any of the car shows around here. Wellington has gotten quite large of late.

Welcome from Wisconsin! I'm also building a 41 coupe, and it seems to take a lifetime. What are your plans for your car?

I just moved to WPB (Old Northwood) in Nov. The car has no floor in it and the firewall has been cut around the motor but I think that just makes the channel job that much easier. The Volvos are really cool and have great potential! Do you do your own work? Where are some of the shows in WPB?

Tell me about it! Everyone who watches the Discovery Channel seems to think that it only takes an hour to build a car or bike lol. The car is getting a 3" chop, 59ab flathead, steelies with trim rings and smooth caps, Im building a stainless front axle and wishbones, stainless four link in the rear, 2" channel, the whole car is getting shaved, frenched Head lights and tails, dual frenched antennas... I want it to look like a survivor from the 50's. How bout your 41'?

Well mine was chopped 4.5 in the front and around 6.5 in the rear. It is a kustom with 100% traditional styling (tail dragger). For power I'm running a 401 Nailhead. If you want to see some pics, there on my profile.
