I too have had this on my mind all day. I often feel uncomfortably unsafe driving on the freeways here in Vegas even in my full size Dodge Ram. Construction zones, narrow lanes and people are still cruising through at 85. Gotta have eyes everywhere and the ability to see the near future driving, anymore. Man, this hits me hard. Eric, his wife, family and friends will all be in my thoughts this weekend. <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/1st_9KudWB0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
This is terrible news. Truely saddens me. Scares me too. Im building a RPU and have said several time how open cars scare the shit outta me.
I did not know this man nor the owner of the RPU, but lets celebrate Erics LIFE not his passing. We have a Brotherhood on the HAMB that I know yields some huge kharma, just as we have HAMBers in Jolplin helping the tornado victims we should pool our thoughts and prayers to all involvled here.
Very sad news! prayers to Eric and his Wife and Skip and Acme hang in there its not easy losing you best friend! i lost mine many years ago and to this day wish he was still here! miss my buddy a sad day today!
My thoughts are with friends and family, I know what its like to loose a close mate. They need all the assistance we can provide. Doc.
This house is prayin for the families.............. We need a HAMB chapel Never ending thread for all the names of any gear heads who has left this world doing what they love. I pray for my safety and all others on the road, everyday i get behind the wheel no matter where i go, only takes 2 seconds and its become habit. I only know a hand full of Hambers on here but trust me when i say, that you all are prayed for. Be safe out there, and again prayers to the familes...........
Thoughts and prayers to Erics family and friends from here in New Zealand, so sad. I lost a close friend and fellow rodder just over a year ago, i was there but just couldnt save him. I dont wish this on anybody. Life deals us some real cruel blows, you just have to carry on. Support and a shoulder to cry on can help so much. Take care, Chris
What a tragic loss to our community. My sincere condolences to all involved and hope you can all find strength in togetherness to heal. So many distractions when folks are driving in normal cars. To easy to be talkin on cell phones. texting, etc. Healing vibes sent from the heartland to all our west coast friends who brave this mass traffic scene a lot of the time. When I lived in L.A. I took so many surface streets and stayed of the high speed freeways as much as possible. R.I.P Eric! Be strong family and friends. God speed ~sololobo~
To all of eric's friends and family i am so sorry to hear of this. May god bless eric and his family. Gasser Girl
My most sincere condolences to friends and family. It gives me a hollow feeling in the pit of my stomach to hear this news.
I'm heartbroken at the loss and inspired by the response here. My construction company does a lot of highway work and I never cease to be amazed at how bad the driving public is. Reckless and inattentive at best. Then I leave the job site and start taking cell calls and reading emails - NEVER AGAIN! My thoughts and prayers for friends and family of all involved. Godspeed Eric.
rip eric wish the best for his wife and family. looks like the truck changed lanes to avoid the other cars in his lane i drive a tractor trailer around south of boston area see this all the time we are told not to change lanes to avoid hitting something in our lane
So sad to hear , as I lost my brother a few years ago to a accident on the roads . My thoughts go out to Eric's family and friends . I will motor down the road in my Hot Rods in his memory !!
