first find was this cool *** gas pump. tag says 1966. gasboy. i think its missing one panel. does anyone know anything about these????
my other find was this sick *** ezgo golf cart.a fixer upper ffor sure. needs batteries and charger from what i can tell. there is a few wires im not sure about. if there is anyone out there with the same model that could possibly take a picture of theres it would help me out alot to connect to loose wires where they should i love picture instructions. i was thinking instead of getting one of those expensive chargers ...i could just get a battery tender and hook up to it every night??? also is there anyone out there that could hook me up with batteries in kentucky? not looking for new....funds are low.
i think its gas????? i have no idea. i was going to put it infront of my garage after to paint her up
that pump brings back memories. we had a red and green one (gas, deisel) like that in the seventies. then when the company grew, we put in a 10,000 gallon tank back in 1985 and put regular used gas station pumps on it then and removed the old gasboys. Now you got me wondering if they are still in one of the semi trailers outback?
Hartmen I have a buddy down here in da Ville who owns American Battery I can check with him for you . I get killer prices on car batteries from him . Rick
rickairmedic that sounds freakin awesome. i would settle for core returns. usually they will hold charge enough for golf carts. i think i may have two....i gotta check. but heck if he has 6 that are deep cell that would be perfect. thanks
Hartmen you going to Beatersville tomorrow ? I will be there wandering around in an Airmedic Mechanical shirt . Rick
probably not. ive got so much **** ive gotta do its unbelieveable. i should had never gone to that auction yesterday....glad i did though lol
i made a huge mistake...after doing some research ive realized that i cant run 12volt car batteries.....dang.
i thought about that when i was at the auction.... well with only one 12volt car battery i tested it out. it works....just slow. parts list i need 6 6volt batts 1 36volt solinoid 1 36volt charger. help me fellow hambers!
find you a local forklift repair shop.they usally have some good used 6 volt batteries lying around.or find one of there service techs most of them save good removed parts.they could probably hook you up with all your list
there is enough room for three 12v but i think the amps is what the problem is...im going to do more research on this.
Hartman, Get back on eBay and look for a GSXR 600 engine or the like and have fun! <object width="480" height="390"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Tj1Em9nmH-4?fs=1&hl=en_GB&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Tj1Em9nmH-4?fs=1&hl=en_GB&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="480" height="390" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object> http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2006...otorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories#ht_500wt_749 P.
Walmart or a Battery store are probably the least expensive on new golf cart batteries but 6x$$ =$$$ You might check a local golf cart dealer for some used ones too as some of the golfers change them out before they get too far gone. If they know you aren't intending to play golf but just want to see if it all works before spending extra money on it they might cut you a deal.
I agree with Paul. You'd probably spend LESS $$$ with that crazy conversion! Oh, and invest in wheelie bars, and perhaps a cage...!
i didnt even realize the pump didnt have a price on it. very interesting. omg that golf cart video is insane! it gets me thinking...... i can get motorcycle engines in my area awhole lot easyier.
