I love this! It's marker? I'd love to see a step by step so I can learn a little more about it. Great Job!

    Still in progress...

  3. Thanks! I just use clear plexi and back paint it once the striping dries. In this case I used some cheapo Rustoleum metallic paint from the hardware store [the silver lays on pretty well, but the gold kinda ****s].

Thanks, I'll post a step by step if I figure out this camera! I'm tring to get these pics reduced in pixle size but still remain large on here. I export them as a JPEG and have to reduce the size from 1600 to 300. I dont know what the hell I'm doin' Some help would be welcome!

    Joshua Shaw.

P.S. The computer I am working on has no art programes what so ever so dont go that route.
I'm working in "iphoto" off of an Olympus digital camera.

O/T, but it's the last thing I did. I painted this freehand on a block wall at the local roundy-round track using a 1" brush.

Wow! That guy you painted in the foreground almost looks real!

  8. He's not real, If it was real, he'd be dead right now, that car is about to hit 'em.

Nice job Animal, but why didn't you just paint the wall grey with a roller? Was the 1" wide brush part of the artistic statement you were trying to make?:D

Man these pics ****. Now i get blinded by the sun all the time, damn its hard to be cool.

This is what I was gonna do for the shift knob for the rivi (not this color)but I like the original knob with the blue flake paint so I guess Im gonna sell a few of these to recoop costs. Anyone know a good lowrider site I can pedal these on.

It's Sunday, so here's my late entry. I call it "Computer Art". It's done by using the paintbrush program to modify a real world pic.

Hey Pappy!........thanx for the rant. Beein' new to stripin' I have been tryin' ta come up with an off-white ( ivory ) Been mixin' yellow 'n white and it just dont look right........more like a cream. Gona try yer mix on my next pieces. Will post later on a friday show.[/QUOTE]

Good luck T-bonez, Youll figure it out. Next time you do a mural with a brush such as a pin-up girl, or a shop logo... Use Ivory throughout it. When you make light blue use ivory instead of white...and so on. It will give it an aged, cl***ic look that fits on hot rods.
