    Hello,

My name is Richard, im 24 years old and just got started with vintage cars. I grew up after watching "Fast and the Furious" like most guys my age. Was the go to guy in town for a bit for cheap motor swaps and turbo kits on hondas. Won a couple trophies with my car for best sleeper and raced it alot in brackets against nothing but muscle cars. Currently have a 400+ Hp Toyota Drift Car, but that doesnt really matter here now does it.

Im apprenticing as a heavy duty mechanic and being around 50+ truckers that grew up with hot rods, and getting to do finishing work on my boss' 29 coupe really got me started.

The original plan was a traditional t or a (what ever i could get cheapest) with an older motor (NOT SBC). Im always searching the used and cl***ifieds site and came across a 55 olds '88 sedan. Add said it had the original 324 olds and was a rust free barn find. So pull the motor and sell the shell off. That didnt turn out at all!

The owner said he had 5 people coming to see it the next day and was leaving town. 600$ wasnt too bad, so i sent our tow truck driver with cash that night to get it (never again!) When the car showed up, pop the hood to find out it has a SBC in it, and enough holes throughout the trunk and floor that you could stop like Fred Flinstone. I s****ed off the back of the block and low and behold the motor is a '68 327. Unsure as to what to do with a car I dont want, with a motor im not fond of, it sat.

Fast forward a Month and i decide to make it a driver and sell it off complete. Many hours of floor pan and trunk work the shell was solid. Pull the wheels to check the brakes, and they were BRAND NEW! 3rd member needed to be re sealed so i pulled that. Some kind of old bolt in locker!

So, as the car sits now, she has new:

    Exhaust
Wheels/Tires (free cragar s/s wheels, look ummm.... interesting)
    floor pan and trunk
    Master cylinder
electric wipers (1989 integra rear wiper motor)
and pretty much everything else to make it p*** a vehicle inspection (its out of province/state)

im looking forward to getting it out on the road for some cruises before i flog it off and start with my actual plans.

Im not an english student, just a grease ball. Sorry for the terrible grammar.

    Thanks for reading.
