A Ford 5 window coupe was the last on my list of child hood gota have
cars. I looked at lots over the years either to much $$ or to far gone.
So one cold January day in 2010 I answered to another add, model A,
choped top, built big block, custom frame.
Had lots of good new parts, but again a rough body.
My son liked it, I figured the parts were worth it and the body was a freebe. I aint getin any younger and son is geting older lets get it.

Also spoted a few things on the ch***is, 3/8 bolts holding the wilwood brackets to the axle flange, king pin bearings must have been spare parts, and what the HELL kind of motor mounts are these? No jam nuts on any of the susspention links.

I then got to thinking after finding all this how is the motor?
I didnt care much for the g**** color any way, so apart it came.
Found it all to be new as was told but, glad i tore it down found that
the home made deep oil pan never got the windage tray put back in and
had a std oil pick up that was not welded to the pump so i could take it off by hand. Reasembled with corect pick up, new oil pan, gear drive, and billet timing cover.
Oh and good buy g**** paint!

We decided to try and save the body. Gathered parts at swap meets, ebay, and found a local guy Al with a great store Mail truck model A
who ordered us lots of metal from a complete Brookville sub ***y to panels.

thanks Noland, they were junk we cut both roof sections off at the factory joint and replaced them with doners.

El Bomero, there is 2, we started on them last year and there was no interest in our build so i didnt continue to post, but now we will. Ill start to sort pics and post in order to where we are now.
    thanks all!
