zf 6 speed swap in shoebox

Has anyone had the pleasure shoe horning a ZF 6SPD out of a vette into a 55 chevy? does the ****** tunnel need to be modified? what clutch needs to be used (pull style clutch) what pedal ***emble is used? ETC .

any info will help

Looking at this thread on putting one in a Gen I Camaro, I'd say it would fit. That being said, the repair costs for one are HUGE! if you break it. Anyhow, here's the thread and it has some how-to links for kits in there.

why not use a T56 if you want 6 gears?
