I've never met anyone famous, so here's a picture of BJ and his monkey, they're both pretty famous...
Me and Chip Foose, Jim Holloway from Mothers. Also me sitting in Honest Charlie's roadster. Both at NSRA Lousville.
Best i can do is a autograph from George Barris over 30 years ago. I had him autograph on the side curtain on my 28 rpu. Unfortuately i didn't have a camera to get a pic as well. Haunts me.....always carry a camera.
this is me and a few mates chatting to ''big daddy'' back in the early '70s. He stayed at same motel as us so we ended up having dinner and a few beers. He was a really good guy to talk to. He was in Australia to sell his dragster, which I think he bought back later. I ended up with an autographed Wynns cap,
My niece (bottom, left) and daughter with Dale Earnhardt Sr, about 1993: And daughter with the "King" at his shop probably about '96:
George Barris and myself with a couple model boxes and a book he signed for me and Gene Winfield and I with a portrait I did of him. You couldn't meet two nicer guys.
I try to stay away from the camera. Old habits die hard I guess. but if you look in my avitar you will find a pic of Wilbur. I was pretty close by, as well as Brad (Blackmerc) who is just out of frame. I will never be famous but Brad and Wilbur have found fame in their own right.
Troy Treppanier signing the Boeing Bomber That's right, Tonya Harding. That's her Dads Model A coupe in the background. I love chrome...Craig Breedlove
Cool to see the pics of HAMBers standin' with Billy Gibbons... He's one of my favorite hot rodders and rockers of all time-- I was fortunate enough for my music thing (BIG STICK) to be featured in a book with him by Leah Kerr called "DRIVING ME WILD" (Nitro Powered Culture)-- He's a great guy... Here's my contribution to the thread-- Don Garlits and I from Old Bridge Township Raceway Park... This is from the time Don gave me a lengthy tale of why he not only believes in UFOs, but why he's certain they exist-- it made it to our Floppers, Diggers and Doorslammers dvd... And FYI, that's a cup of milk that Don is holding, his moral and ethical code of life is certainly somewhat unique compared to lots of other folks ya meet at the drags... "The Doc" (Celebrity Drag Racing Authority & Visionary)... Me, Don Garlits, and a glass of cold milk as he talks my ear off about UFOs on a hot 'n' humid ETown day...
