Rear transverse spring mounts

    I really need to know if they are removable on the banjo rear-ends or are they welded? Someone long ago welded a huge chunk of metal to it for a repair but didn't make sure it was still parallel to the frame. Is this something that can be removed or do we have to find a whole half of a rear end? If you need pics of it I can post some here in a bit.

    They are a forged part welded to the tube.

    time to look for an axle tube.

    Thanks Guys! We actually found one here in town and the correct year type. Looked thru alot that had ends cut off and wrong years but finally stumbled on the correct one! $30 and it's awaiting the tear down to redo the brakes!!!
