Damn, I keep thinking this can't get any better and every time I check back it just keeps getting better. Can't wait to see this car done. Love it lots.
I think mctim64 here on the HAMB is a closet Custom guy....he told me that the tips of the skirts were to low and I was loosing the flow. Well he was right and I fixed it by tucking them and making them level with the bottom of the car. Thanks Tim.
Royalshifter, I just got hip to this build yesterday in Santa Maria. I met Ron from Bako (didn't get HAMB name) and he told me to check it out. Man I love this car, but more than that I love your thoughts before and after you fab each section. As an artist, I can draw 'em but the thought of turning ideas into actual metal that flows seamlessly is totally out of my element. In an early post you asked who actually likes wrap around gl***?, and I thought maybe I did. Now I see what you saw. Love the top, the front, the sides, the back, the stance, the height. You really found a way to look at a shoebox differently. I'm not even going to ask about color. I know it'll be great.
I follow your artwork and I am flattered by your comments and excited how you found out about the car. I would love a rendering someday.
Ha, that's funny, I noticed that too last time I was over. I wasn't gonna say anything, I was just gonna fix 'em when you brought it to the shop...
Just back from New Age Metal Finishing in Fresno.....two pieces have to go back but not a problem because I am very happy with the results.
