Can this lever style brake switch be mounted outside the vehicle?

    Can this brake switch(Speedway motors) be mounted under the car where it can get wet and be in the elements or must it be inside?

    YES, that's where they were mounted in their original GM and other applications.

    Yes, that's where mine is, no problems with it after 3 years and counting.

    Did a major rewire on a '47 Chevy truck with a switch like that. It still was working even after 60+ years, so I re-used it.
