did a search cant seem to find decently priced 46-48 ford rear wheel cylinders any alliance vendors have them ?
Specialized market, very low turn-over. These are brake parts for 60-70 year old vehicles. Good USA made pieces are going to run at least $40 each or a bit more. Off-shore junk a bit less, but not for this guy. These are your brakes were talkin' about. A very important system, so I feel $40 is actually quite reasonable for these parts. At least you can still get them!

i dunno if i trust brake parts from any place like speedway i could be wrong but its just a feeling sorry and i have bought tons of parts from them
Macsautoparts.com has US pieces available for $43. They're in New York. Speedway's are $49 each, but are s/s sleeved. Don't know where they have them made however.
Yeah, everything is going up- except wages! Mac's 2011-12 catalog shows them at $42.95. On line info shows $49.95 now. I know I paid over $40 for them a couple of years ago, so this is not unexpected. Just remember, if people stop buying the US pieces due to cost, you'll soon only have Chinese pieces available. In fact, I think I'll order a full set from Mac's before that happens, or the price jumps again, so I'll have them available if/when I need another set.
I checked with NAPA on these a few weeks ago. They're price was $69 each retail. Even with my fleet discount, they were still over $55. And they weren't sure where they were manufactured, possibly Mexico.
i dont have a napa were im located anymore they all went under ..only autozones, advanced auto's,aid auto store .they all suck ill just order them from mac's on monday. thanks fellas.
why not have your stuff resleeved and never have to worry about them again? these guys are right in your backyard and they are about $30 less per cyl. than the guys out in cal. http://www.applehydraulics.com/brakes.htm or http://www.brakecylinder.com/prices2011.htm . $280 gets everthing done in new york and $340 in cal.
