So last weekend Donzie, fab32 and I spend a nice spring day diggin arould a junk yard and gettin my ragtop out of the barn. The weather was great all week so I cruise around about every with the top down enjoying the spring weather. Then this weekend it's gets COLD and starts snowing. Its has snowed ever since Saturday morning. We have about 8" inches on the ground and its still comin down. This this the view out my front door.
I lived in Michigan (Baldwin) 11 years ago. I know whereof you speak ! Glad to be back in tropical northern Minnesota. Here's a shot in front of my house about 3 hours ago.
Yup - this is gay. Last weekend I got my Rocket motor fired fired and didn't even have to wear a shirt, today I came in after only 20 minutes 'cause my hands hurt! I was gonna take it out today dammit!
I spent part of the day helping my father prapare his garage fo some insulation. When next winter gets here I am going to be warm and cozy while I work on my truck. Is was not to bad today in western mich.. All the snow has already melted and the sun poped out for a couple of minutes just before it got dark.
Most of the schools are closed here tomorrow, just listened to the closing report on TV. I'm beginning to doubt warm weather by July 1st. I just hope the county didn't put all of the snowplows away yet ,my wife needs to get to the dentist in the morning. She's had a tooth bothering her since Friday night. Frank
The good thing is that when the sun comes out it will go away a lot faster than it did in January! I just got rid of the last pile last week (it was a big one). From what I hear we're just gonna get more rain (3" this weekend) out of your storm front this time - thanks goodness!
We were pretty lucky down here;you could still see my freshly cut gr*** through the snow.I came in from the shop about an hour ago and it was a rain/snow mix falling. Could be a lot worse;I talked to my aunt down in Florida the other day and she was talking to her son who still lives in Jamestown NY(about 70 mi.south of Buffalo)and they got 18 INCHES last week!Of course their average snowfall per year is about 12 FEET! Be thankful you don't live there!
How well I remember the wonderful four seasons of Mi. Early winter, winter , late winter and the fourth of July.It just would'nt be Christmas without snow, or April.
oh you poor bastids!!!!! AND i thought we had it bad in boston area..i just took the rope down from the cieling i think the snow is over.. we got 90 plus inches this year
I saw that last night on the news! I would have been smack in the middle of all that had my planned trip to see Hatch come to fruition.
I was really glad it snowed cuz it gave me a lot of time to hack up phlegm and catch up on my episodes of Pimp My Ride.
